RHOA: Peter & Cynthia Divorce

The last season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta ended earlier this year and the drama has reached a new level. Cynthia Bailey recently announced that she was filing for divorce from husband, Peter Thomas. Fans have seen Peter and Cynthia’s relationship play out on the show ever since season 3 of the show. Peter and Cynthia got married during the season 3 finale and there was many obstacles they faced including Cynthia’s family questioning whether they should be married or not. Last season we saw the couples relationship troubles really take a turn for the worst. Peter was caught on camera, allegedly, touching a young woman in a inappropriate manner. The couple also dealt with Peter being away running his bar in Charlotte, North Carolina. Peter dealt with a lot of accusations from various people including cast member, Porsha Williams. Porsha, during an argument, would often bring up Peter’s alleged affairs with other women to Cynthia.

Last week, Peter took the liberty of calling up Wendy Williams and came on her show to clear up some rumors concerning his marriage. Peter said, ” We were separated for five or six months.” Peter didn’t find out that Cynthia was filing for divorce until he read it online. Wendy gave her opinion on the matter, saying, ” Whatever it is you’ve done to her that’s made her so pissed – that she might feel, Peter, that maybe you don’t deserve the respect of a joint statement or a phone call.” Peter also made sure he cleared the air about the video. Peter said that he went to tell the woman to stop talking reckless. There was another photo of Peter and another woman at a diner and Peter made sure he let everyone know that she was a business partner of his and that they often go to that diner to eat to discuss business.

Peter said he is returning to the show, so fans will definitely see his relationship issues with Cynthia play out. The show is currently filming right now.
