Could Comcast Crush our Dreams?

Marvel fans were excited when the news of Disney buying Fox broke last year, but could all of those hopes be crushed? Recent reports have surfaced of Comcast getting in on the action and submitting a offer to buy Fox over Disney.

Disney originally made an impressive offer of $52 billion back in December. According to USA Today, Comcast plans to outbid Disney with a $60 billion offer. Allegedly, Disney is prepared to up their offer to secure the deal.

According to CNBC, Disney CEO, Bob Iger is confident that the deal with Fox with close.

“We made a good deal, actually a deal that shareholders reacted quite favorably to and we’re going to remain confident in our ability to close” said Iger to CNBC

Fans were thrilled at the news that their favorite Marvel superhero would all be housed under one roof. Fox held the rights to superhero teams like the X-Men and the Fantastic Four.

It is reported that Fox’s, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, could be their last films before the merge.
